1961-62 Parkhurst Hockey Card Series 4

The 1961-62 Parkhurst hockey card series was the final last the provider would produce. The set included 51 hockey cards featuring players in the Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings and Montreal Canadiens. An entire set is now valued at as much $1600 that has a common card fetching nearly $15. Only two significant rookie cards appeared in your 1961-62 Parkhurst series. The amount 5 card featuring Dave Keon belonging to the Toronto Maple Leafs is valued at $250. Keon鈥檚 first NHL season was 1960-61. He produced 45 points on 20 goals and 25 assists in 70 games throughout his rookie season and earned the Calder Memorial Trophy being the NHL鈥檚 rookie of the year. Keon is awarded over Byng Trophy later in 1962 given that the NHL鈥檚 most gentlemanly player. Dave remained with Toronto 'till the end of one's 1974-75 season and enjoyed a career that would get him awarded with a Hockey Hall of Fame in 1986.
